Information
Nila is a spirited 22-year-old jackal demi-human with roots in Solvarra. Her family migrated to Valralor before her birth, making her one of the few jackals living outside the deserts of Solvarra. As a member of the canine demi-human lineage, which includes wolf-kin, Nila shares their sharp instincts and agility.

From a young age, Nila exhibited an adventurous and mischievous streak. While her antics were never serious enough to cause lasting trouble, they often earned her scoldings from her parents. Her personality shifted through distinct phases as she grew.

In her teenage years, Nila embraced her feminine side, stepping away from her tomboyish tendencies to become a dancer at prestigious events in the Valralorian capital. Unknown to her family, she used these opportunities not just to perform but also to infiltrate and gather secrets or steal from the event's attendees. The thrill of these escapades drove her, though she had no personal gain in mind.

At 18, her path shifted again when she joined the adventurer's guild Abyss, seeking a more structured and exciting life. She thrived initially, building a strong friendship with Kasumi, another young recruit who joined Abyss a year later. Together, they became inseparable, covering for each other when they faced trouble or when evading the looming threat of "the shades," Abyss’ enforcers.

However, Abyss took a dark turn under the growing dominance of Rajen, the guild’s S-Rank adventurer, whose oppressive leadership began to affect its members. Around this time, Nila’s family moved back to Solvarra. While she stayed behind to continue her adventurer life, she maintained yearly contact with her family, though her busy life often caused her to forget to write them.

Nila’s recent discovery of Crimson Moon has reignited her sense of adventure. The new guild’s exclusive quests, vibrant community, and the welcoming atmosphere of its village headquarters quickly drew her in. Spending time there allowed her to develop close bonds, particularly with Akiko, a member of Crimson Moon. As Nila’s feelings for Akiko deepened, she began to question whether Crimson Moon might offer her the home and stability she didn’t realize she was seeking.

Abilities
Dark Magic
Nila has an innate talent for dark magic, though its strength makes it difficult to control without a focus object. Her primary focus is an enchanted, fully armored gauntlet, capable of being worn on either arm, which channels her dark magic into precise and devastating attacks.

-
With Gauntlet: The gauntlet allows her to harness her magic into combat-oriented abilities, creating a deadly blend of magic and physical strikes.
-
Without Gauntlet: She can still use basic dark magic, such as creating short-term blinding spells or summoning dense smokescreens to obscure vision.
Unknown Abilities
Like many adventurers, Nila’s potential has yet to be fully realized. She may discover new abilities as she grows stronger and more confident in her abilities.

Relationships
Akiko
Nila and Akiko’s relationship began as a lighthearted friendship, filled with playful banter and mutual respect. However, Nila’s feelings for Akiko deepened as she spent more time at Crimson Moon. This culminated when Akiko returned injured from a mission, and Nila cared for her during her recovery. Watching over Akiko during this vulnerable time gave Nila the courage to confess her feelings when Akiko finally woke.

Kasumi
Nila and Kasumi share a bond forged during their early days in Abyss. Their friendship grew quickly, and the two became nearly inseparable, offering each other support and protection during difficult times in the guild. Nila values Kasumi as one of her closest allies and confidants.

Akame
Nila holds deep respect for Akame as Crimson Moon’s leader. She admires the stability and support Akame offers to those who visit or join the guild, including herself and Kasumi. Akame’s leadership has been a stark contrast to the chaos she experienced in Abyss, leaving Nila feeling both grateful and inspired.
