Syrela

Syrela originates from the Styx Forest, located to the north of the Obsidian Wall in the Obsidian Plains. Her village is the last surviving Dark Elf clan in Valralor. Known for their unmatched precision with bows and affinity for shadow magic, her people have earned a reputation among outsiders as cunning and untrustworthy.

Syrela grew up amidst the struggles of her clan, training herself as both a protector and a skilled survivalist. Though fiercely loyal, she began to feel trapped by her clan’s isolationism, hoping for a life of greater purpose beyond the shadows of the their forest.

​

Her life took a pivotal turn when an undead rider attacked her village, killing two of the six chiefs who governed the clan, along with many of their villagers. Fueled by vengeance, Syrela pursued the pair of undead across the plains, determined to avenge the fallen. However, when she found the undead knight and its dragon, they had already been slain by a group of three women. One of them, a kitsune, was suffering from the effects of the dragon’s toxic breath. The kitsune woman was probably only minutes away from death. Out of gratitude for their actions, Syrela decided to assist them, providing an antidote to save the kitsune's life before departing.

Syrela is often praised as one of the most beautiful women in her clan, a title that has caused her more frustration than joy. In the past, the clan chiefs have repeatedly attempted to marry her off to prominent male Dark Elves, but Syrela refuses to be a mere trophy. She dreams of being recognized as a warrior and a fighter. To her, settling down would only be an option if she met someone who treated her as both an equal and a woman, respecting her strength and independence but treating her with kindness and respect when being intimate.

Abilities

• Shadow Arrows
  Syrela can imbue her arrows with shadow magic, allowing them to travel silently, penetrate barriers, or create zones of temporary blindness upon impact.

• Dual Dagger Mastery
  Syrela’s twin daggers are infused with shadow energy, making her lethal in close combat. She enhances her daggers with various toxins, such as sleep-inducing agents, paralysis poisons, and lethal venoms, depending on the situation.

• Stealth and Evasion
  With natural agility and survival instincts, Syrela is a master of stealth, capable of blending into shadows to evade even the sharpest eyes. Her movements are precise and silent, making her nearly impossible to track.

• Toxic & Antitoxin Expertise
  Syrela is skilled in crafting toxins and antidotes from natural ingredients. Her expertise allows her to create remedies for a wide range of poisons, a skill that has saved lives, including during the undead rider attack.

• Enhanced Night Vision
  As a Dark Elf, Syrela possesses superior vision in low-light conditions, giving her a distinct advantage when hunting or fighting under the cover of darkness.

Relationships

Syrela has no established relationships with members of Crimson Moon or Redcrest at this time. Then only three members she briefly interacted with was Akiko, Kurohime, and Eve.
