Yuzuki

Yuzuki, a 20-year-old wolfkin, was once an assassin in the Valralorian Assassin's Guild. During her time in the guild, she served as one of Cassian's "hands"—a high-ranking enforcer of his ruthless rule. Cassian, a descendant of Reynard—the traitor who betrayed Yukari and overthrew the guild—continued to enforce Reynard's cruel ideologies. These ideals directly clashed with Yuzuki's growing sense of morality, especially when she discovered that Cassian and her counterpart "hand," Ren, were eliminating her initiates.

Her breaking point came when she uncovered a plot to kill two of her current initiates, Azure and Scarlet, both of whom she had personally trained. This betrayal opened her eyes to the corruption within the guild. Fueled by rage and determination, Yuzuki went on a killing spree, eliminating anyone loyal to Cassian or Ren. Using her skills, she poisoned Ren’s elite group and set their hideout ablaze, leaving them to burn alive. However, Ren narrowly survived.

After fleeing the guild, Yuzuki's past returned to haunt her months later. While accompanying Suzuran, Azure, and Scarlet in the Valralor Catacombs, they were ambushed by Ren and his remaining loyalists. Although Yuzuki initially forbade Suzuran from fighting, claiming it was her battle, Suzuran intervened when Ren’s group resorted to dirty tactics. Together, they triumphed, further solidifying the bond between Yuzuki and Suzuran.

Now a proud member of Crimson Moon, Yuzuki serves as a skilled assassin and protector. Her relationship with Suzuran has blossomed into a loving partnership, helping her find solace after her troubled past.

Wolfkin Strength
Yuzuki’s Wolfkin heritage grants her exceptional hearing, smell, speed, stealth, and hunting instincts, making her a formidable presence in combat. Her heightened senses are especially valuable in tracking and ambush scenarios.

Stealth
Trained extensively in the Assassin's Guild, Yuzuki has mastered the art of blending seamlessly with shadows. Her stealth skills are advanced enough to allow her to blend with any shadow, not just her own. In scouting missions, Yuzuki can pass through dappled shadows from vines or other natural covers, remaining virtually undetectable.

Although Yuzuki has honed her skills as an assassin, she possesses untapped potential waiting to be unlocked. These latent abilities could manifest as she grows, possibly revealing hidden talents that could further enhance her capabilities.

Relationships

Suzuran
Suzuran and Yuzuki’s relationship is one of deep affection and mutual respect. After their intense experiences together in the Valralor Catacombs, they began to fall for each other, with their feelings growing during subsequent battles, particularly a memorable one against a small tribe of goblins. Their bond has fully blossomed now that they share a room at the Crimson Moon guild hall, where they experience the joys of daily life as a couple. Their private moments have become a cherished routine, enjoyed by both every morning and night.

Akame
Yuzuki’s initial impression of Akame was marked by apprehension, as she had been warned of Akame's critical nature. Although their first meeting confirmed some of this, Yuzuki soon earned Akame’s respect, and Akame has since granted her and Suzuran complete freedom in their relationship and activities.

Yukari
Yuzuki has long admired Yukari’s teachings and looked up to her, even before learning that Yukari had survived for over a century. Yuzuki preserved many of Yukari’s methods in secret, training her initiates in these principles, which conflicted with Cassian’s more ruthless teachings. Yukari’s survival and involvement with Crimson Moon were a source of deep inspiration for Yuzuki.

Kurohime
Yuzuki occasionally consults Kurohime when seeking ways to surprise Suzuran romantically or spice up their time together. Kurohime playfully teases Yuzuki about her frequent visits for advice, joking that they’ll soon run out of ideas.

Akiko
Yuzuki is aware of Akiko’s past feelings for Suzuran but holds no ill will toward her, understanding that Akiko’s affection for Suzuran mirrored her own. In recent days, Yuzuki quietly cheers on Akiko, hoping she finds happiness with Nila.

Kasumi
Yuzuki has taken a particular interest in Kasumi, whose stealth abilities and assassin-like qualities make her an ideal candidate for Crimson Moon. Currently, Kasumi remains a member of the Abyss guild, but Yuzuki keeps an eye on her, hoping to recruit her to Crimson Moon’s own assassin group in the future.
