Backstory:

Elves are one of the oldest races on the planet, second only to humans. Known for their long lifespans, ethereal beauty, and innate magical aptitude, elves have long lived in secluded areas hidden by powerful enchantments. As a race, they tend to view themselves as superior to others, particularly due to their longevity and refined cultures.

​

Over the centuries, however, divisions among elves began to surface mainly between those who adhered to traditional, high-born values and those who favored a more rugged, practical lifestyle. This rift led to issues between mainly High-Elves and Dark Elves.

​

In modern times, High-Elves have integrated themselves easily into current day Valralor and other areas of the planet. While most High-Elves still try to uphold tradition in a modern setting, their value of being the best have led them to the founding of certain factions in the Iron Legions.

High Elves 

High Elves are the oldest among the elves, with noble lineage of the elven race. They maintain ancient traditions, pursue mastery of magic, and pride themselves on cultural sophistication. These elves often live in magical cities or forested settlements hidden from outsiders. High Elves tend to consider themselves above other races, including humans, though they recognize humanity's reproductive compatibility and physical beauty.

Dark Elves

Dark Elves were once part of the main elven lineage, but centuries ago, cultural rifts—rooted in differing ideals led them to separate from High Elves. Self-imposed exile occurred around the time the Valralorian Republic was forming.

​

Dark Elves now live in dangerous forests, ancient ruins, or abandoned dungeons that they’ve converted into settlements. While they are often considered inferior and outcast by High Elves, Dark Elves are fierce, proud, and independent. As far as their magic aptitude, they lean towards Shadow and Dark Magic.

Half-Elves

Half-Elves are the result of child birth between elves—typically High Elves—and humans. Due to frequent romantic relationships between male elves and beautiful human women (or vice versa), Half-Elves are now quite common across Aelyndra. Unlike their elven ancestors, they are not bound by strict traditions or societal roles, allowing them to integrate freely among humans and demi-humans alike.

Half-Elves age faster than pure-blooded elves, appearing youthful well into their 70s but aging only slightly faster—e.g., a 70-year-old Half-Elf woman may appear to be in her mid-20s by human standards. They are versatile, attractive, and often carry the best features of both races.

While Half-Elves born of a relationship stemming from a Human and Dark Elf partner has happened, they are rarely seen out in public. Dark Elves are a bit afraid of their hybrid offspring being on the receiving end of harassment from mainly High-Elves. Although the rumor among all males from almost all of the races is that a Dark Half-Elf is probably one of the most beautiful women on the planet.

Intimacy & Relationships

High Elves:

High Elves value beauty and lineage, so they tend to be selective with partners. Most marriages are arranged within elven society for political or status-based reasons. That said, High Elves are known to develop deep, passionate relationships with humans, particularly those they find physically attractive or emotionally compelling.

If aiming for a human, Elven males prefer beautiful, submissive human females whom they can cherish and protect. A strong emphasis is placed on producing attractive and noble children.

Female High Elves are more flexible, allowing for polygamous relationships if the husband wants it. A common example is a human male with multiple elf wives—typically two or three—with the first wife being the “head wife.” This head wife has authority over the others and is often given two exclusive days a week with the husband, while the other wives compete for his attention, sometimes even engaging in sexual competition in bed to reestablish dominance.

Elven females have naturally high sex drives and often desire to become mothers quickly after marriage. It’s not uncommon for them to want to bear up to five children before feeling content. They are emotionally devoted partners, but their sexual needs are vigorous and lasting.

Dark Elves:

Dark Elves are far more driven by strength, compatibility, and dominance. Their society is less rigid about appearance and more focused on power, loyalty, and performance in both battle and bed.

Male Dark Elves usually seek strong, battle-capable women who can fight at their side. These men prefer monogamy but expect loyalty and results. If they desire a son, they will continue mating with their wife until one is born. The child they desire becomes their favorite, especially if that child matches their expectations of strength.

Female spouses (of any race) are expected to set aside “bedroom days” exclusively for their husband. These days are devoted entirely to sex and bonding, and they are culturally important to maintain a happy marriage.
 

Female Dark Elves have strong personalities, high sex drives, and a desire to be treated with care in private, despite their fierce public personas. They often want to be the only wife, but if they enter a relationship where they are multiple wives, and a “head wife” already exists, the Dark Elf will bide her time before challenging her.

This challenge takes place sexually, the Dark Elf and head wife take turns pleasuring the husband, with the goal being to bring him to multiple orgasms within an hour. The one who succeeds with giving him the most orgasms becomes or remains the head wife. Obviously with the simple thought that the one who can please their husband the most is the best wife.

Once a Dark Elf woman has had children, she becomes slightly more nurturing and grounded, though her sex drive remains strong. Above all, she craves being the center of her partner’s world, both emotionally and physically.
 

Half-Elves:

Half-Elves inherit the high sex drive of their elven blood, but they also embody the emotional passion and romantic tendencies of humans. 

Female Half-Elves are affectionate lovers who enjoy cuddling, foreplay, and passionate sex. Once in love or settled with a partner, they tend to desire motherhood quickly—often hoping to birth both a son and a daughter before they consider stopping.

Physically, Half-Elf women lean more toward their human heritage. They often have curvier bodies—larger breasts, wider hips, thicker thighs—and nearly always have freckles, regardless of whether their parents had them. These traits make them extremely attractive to many other races.

Half-Elf women are also known to be emotionally open, eager to please, and highly romantic. They often dedicate themselves to their partner’s happiness and will become emotionally distressed if they feel neglected.

Half-Elf men can be very independent which is something they inherited from their human side. Some of them even like to be alone for long spurts of time until they feel lonely and actively seek interaction. They even indulge in brothels from time to time when they aren’t ready to settle down just yet, but this decision sometimes works in their favor as many of the women in a brothel think very highly of Half-Elves and would consider losing their jobs just to get pregnant by one.
