Backstory:

Evolved Onis are the unique offspring of human and oni relationships that began over 200 years ago. Presently, Evolved Onis are in their 5th and 6th generations, with each successive generation demonstrating increased strength and power. This growth in capability is attributed to their unique blend of human and oni traits, allowing them to develop their strength through profession-focused careers or adventurous pursuits, much like their human ancestors.

 

Unlike traditional Oni, who are associated with specific colors such as red or blue, Evolved Onis do not have temperaments or attitudes that stem from their distinct colors. Instead, their physical appearance retains the skin color of their human ancestor or parent, while their distinguishing feature is their horns, which can come in a variety of colors. These horn colors often correspond to their eye colors, ranging from shades as diverse as violet and orange to more vibrant hues.

 

For example, Akame and Suzuran, two Evolved Oni sisters, exhibit these characteristics distinctly. Akame has crimson horns (though one was lost during the attack on her village) and crimson eyes, while Suzuran has amber eyes and amber horns.

 

In terms of reproduction, Evolved Onis have unique characteristics. When mating with other races, their offspring will typically revert to the race of the other parent. For instance, an Evolved Oni male and a Kitsune female will produce a Kitsune child, while an Evolved Oni female and an Elf male will have an Elf child. However, when Evolved Onis mate with other Evolved Onis or humans, the resulting offspring will always be an Evolved Oni. The scientific community in the Valralorian Republic remains puzzled by this phenomenon, as it does not extend to other demi-human or primal races.

 

Research into Evolved Onis continues even after 200 years. A specific brothel in the Pleasure Quarter of the Valralorian Republic remains dedicated to exploring breeding possibilities with Evolved Onis. This establishment compensates both humans and Evolved Onis to mate with other races in hopes of producing new, unique offspring. The scientific community supports this brothel and is present when children born from these unions are delivered. In contrast, any illegal brothels attempting similar experiments outside of legitimate relationships or marriages are subject to closure.

 

Some scientists speculate that a unique gene in certain humans or existing Evolved Onis might trigger the creation of new races. 200 years ago, the scientific community even prepared names for potential new races such as Evolved Kitsune, Evolved Dragonoids, Evolved Nekos, and Evolved Wolves, reflecting the endless possibilities they envisioned. Research into Evolved Onis continues to this day, driven by the hope of uncovering more about these intriguing beings.

 

Intimacy & Relationships:

As far as intimacy goes, female evolved oni’s tend to be aroused easier compared to males. Male evolved oni’s tend to have the same sexual tendencies as human males. Female evolved oni’s have actually displayed heat cycles, even though they shouldn’t have any type of “heat” they go into. This just mainly means that for a day or two once in a while, the female evolved oni wants to be very sexually active. Sometimes this cycle vanishes but equalizes their lifespan sexual activity making them want to be more sexually active during their entire life.

 

Males are more so considered “go with the flow” type of mentality with sex. They don’t actively seek out relationships and sometimes are oblivious to when a female of any race is actually interested in them or actively seeking a relationship with them.

 

Females are a bit more adept when someone is interested in them and sometimes are the target of people whistling at them because there have always been extremely attractive female evolved oni’s.

 

Aside from the unique traits that come from being an evolved oni for females, the rest of their intimate habits or relationships are very similar to a human female. 

 

Legends:

In regards to the legend of Evolved Onis, there was a myth or even a rumor that was uncovered in an unmarked journal that stated a family that had lived in isolation, a retired evolved oni guard from Valralor, and a young adult human female had a child together and that child was a very rare and unique white horned evolved oni. Her eyes were also white. 

 

The only reason this family was ever interacted with was by pure chance. A guard captain’s group had been ambushed by bandits and even though they had all survived and eliminated the bandits, the captain had been separated during his fight and fell down a large hill and tumbled minutes away from his group.

 

The father of the family had found this man and brought him back to tend to his injuries. During his time in recovery, he met the unique white horned daughter and was completely in awe. He saw an anomaly right in front of him.

 

As he left he thanked the family and returned back to his group and outpost, immediately telling his higher ups what he saw. Days later they returned to the families house, some of them in the group intent on taking the girl away to study her. When they showed up, the house looked as if it were abandoned. The captain realized that due to him seeing the daughter, the family probably escaped and moved somewhere else.

 

This was the only time a white evolved oni has ever been mentioned.
