Kitsune
Race: Kitsune
Category: Humanoid
Lifespan: 150-200 years
(On rare occasion can live longer and become Kyuubi)

Backstory:
Kitsune folk, also known as fox people, have existed as long as other demi-human races. Known for their mischievous, seductive, and playful nature, Kitsunes embody many traits associated with their fox counterparts. For example, Akiko, a member of the guild Crimson Moon, has earned the nickname "Sly Fox" due to her flirtatious demeanor, attractiveness, and playful interactions, especially with village children.
While Kitsunes may not possess the raw strength of Oni, Wolf, or Dragon demi-humans, they are highly respected for their strategic minds and tactical thinking. Often, Kitsunes serve as strategists in guilds or command positions in demi-human armies, where their ability to plan and outthink opponents makes them invaluable.

Beauty is a common trait among Kitsune women, with it being extremely rare to find an unattractive Kitsune. Even those considered less attractive by Kitsune standards still possess an allure that attracts members of other races, particularly males. These rare "unattractive" Kitsune are often battle-hardened warriors, making them even more revered.

Before the widespread interest in human and Oni pairings, there was a period of 5–10 years where Kitsunes became the focus of a breeding phenomenon. Other races, including humans, believed that mating with Kitsunes might enhance their offspring's genetics. However, this theory was disproved when the children born during this period displayed no significant differences. The only notable exception was a union between an Elven male and a Kitsune female, resulting in a daughter known as the "Goddess of Beauty." This offspring, who is still alive today, serves as the current Empress of the secluded Kitsune lands, located five days by sea northwest of Draconia.

Kitsunes also show wide variety in aging. Kitsunes typically live to be around 200 years old. Even in their old age, Kitsune folk can appear as if they are only in their 50s in human years, usually only showing visible signs of aging in their final years of life. However, some Kitsune have lived much longer, reaching up to 400–600 years old. Though extremely rare, it is estimated that fewer than 100 such long-lived Kitsunes exist in the world today.

Lastly, a Kitsune who reaches the age of 800 immediately undergoes an evolution into a Kyuubi, the legendary nine-tailed fox. Kyuubi are extremely rare, with only four ever having existed simultaneously throughout history. In the current world, there is only one known Kyuubi alive: Rinuri.

Intimacy & Relationships:
Kitsune are naturally flirtatious, playful, and teasing creatures, and these traits heavily influence their relationships. Romance, seduction, and intimacy are considered important aspects of their culture—not only for pleasure but also for deepening emotional bonds.

Male Kitsune are notoriously flirtatious by nature. They enjoy playful banter, teasing, and affectionate displays of love, often charming their partners with their wit and mischievous smiles. However, despite their playful demeanor, once a male Kitsune truly falls in love, he becomes fiercely loyal. A bonded male Kitsune is protective, loving, and extremely attentive to his partner's emotional and physical needs.

In intimacy, male Kitsune are passionate lovers who enjoy pleasing their partners thoroughly, often preferring extended foreplay and playful teasing to draw out the experience. They are not overly dominant with all partners but tend to be more dominant in relationships specifically when paired with other Kitsune women or females of other races.

Female Kitsune are similar but with slight differences in emotional depth. A female Kitsune often enjoys being pursued initially, using her natural allure to test a potential partner’s sincerity and patience. Once convinced of genuine affection, she becomes deeply affectionate and quite clingy compared to her male counterparts.

Female Kitsune love to boast about their beauty while single and often adore receiving attention. However, this is typically a cover for privately having their eyes set on a particular person they truly want, using the attention to inflate their "ego" while secretly aiming to capture the heart of their chosen one.

In intimacy, female Kitsune love to be submissive in their relationships and especially in bed. They enjoy being pleased first, savoring the sensation and emotional closeness. In return, once satisfied, a female Kitsune becomes intensely giving, ensuring her partner experiences even greater pleasure than she received.

Both male and female Kitsune tend to have high sex drives, but they prioritize pleasure for both themselves and their partners equally. Their natural stamina allows for prolonged lovemaking sessions, and they delight in turning intimacy into both a physical and emotional game of mutual satisfaction.

In married or bonded relationships, Kitsune partners often develop daily rituals of affection—such as morning kisses, evening cuddles, and spontaneous sexual encounters—to keep their bonds strong even across decades or centuries.

Betrayal, however, devastates Kitsune deeply. When betrayed by a lover, both male and female Kitsune often emotionally retreat, sometimes avoiding serious relationships for many years until their broken trust can heal.
